1. Who we are and how these Terms work
1.1 Company
“Justreminisce”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Leinnovations Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
1.2 Agreement
By creating an account, clicking “Agree”, logging in, or otherwise using our website, tools, or services (the “Platform”), you enter into a legally binding agreement with us and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1.3 Scope
These Terms apply to all features of Justreminisce, including public, private, and hidden groups, memory tools, AI-assisted features, storage services, discovery features, beta features, and any related services we provide now or in the future.
1.4 Related policies
Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, Community Rules, and any other policies we publish from time to time. These are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1.5 Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where required by law, we will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Using Justreminisce
2.1 Minimum age
You must be 16 years or older to use the Platform.
If you are aged 16–17, you should use privacy-protective settings and avoid sharing sensitive personal data.
2.2 Your account
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for all activity carried out through your account.
2.3 One account
You may only create one personal account, unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
2.4 Account security
You must protect your login credentials and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
3. Your content and intellectual property
3.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all text, images, videos, audio, and other content you upload (“User Content”).
3.2 Licence to us
To operate and maintain the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, display, distribute, index, rank, and technically process your User Content.
This licence:
- does not transfer ownership
- does not permit advertising, marketing, or AI-training use without your explicit consent
- ends when you delete content or your account, except where copies remain for backups, legal, safety, or compliance reasons
3.3 User responsibility
You confirm you have the right to upload your content and that it complies with the law and these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of content you upload. We are not responsible for inaccuracies or omissions in User Content.
3.4 Nature of memories
Memories shared on Justreminisce are personal recollections and reflections. They are subjective and may differ between individuals. We do not verify accuracy and they must not be treated as factual, historical, medical, legal, or professional advice.
3.5 Saving, collecting, and organising content
Features that allow you to save, collect, or organise content are provided for personal reference only. Saving content does not transfer ownership, grant rights, or imply endorsement.
3.6 Attribution and ownership
We do not verify attribution or sources associated with User Content. Users are responsible for respecting ownership and copyright.
3.7 Public vs private areas
Public content may be viewed, saved, or referenced by others.
Private and hidden groups limit visibility but do not create confidential or encrypted communications and are excluded from advertising.
3.8 Personal data of others
You must not upload or share personal data about others without a lawful basis, including consent where required.
3.9 No impersonation or misrepresentation
You must not impersonate others or present disputed or misleading information as fact.
3.10 Misinformation, disputes, and harm
We do not adjudicate factual disputes. Where content is disputed, misleading, or may cause harm, we may limit its visibility or remove it without determining truth.
3.11 Responsibility despite anonymity
Using a nickname or pseudonym does not remove your legal responsibility for content you share.
3.12 Control after sharing
Once content is shared, others may save, copy, screenshot, or re-share it. We cannot control downstream use.
3.13 Deletion limitations
Deleting content removes it from active display but copies may remain temporarily for backups, safety, or legal reasons.
3.14 No guaranteed backups
We do not guarantee permanent storage. You should keep your own copies of important content.
3.15 Visibility and discovery
We do not guarantee visibility, discovery, engagement, or promotion. Lack of interaction does not imply moderation or suppression.
4. Communities, groups, and platform intent
4.1 Group rules
Groups may establish their own rules provided they do not conflict with these Terms or applicable law.
4.2 Group administrators
Group administrators are responsible for managing access and behaviour within their groups. We are not responsible for moderator decisions.
4.3 Platform authority
We may remove content, restrict users, limit discovery, or remove entire groups where necessary to protect users or comply with law.
4.4 Platform purpose
Justreminisce is designed for reflection, memory-keeping, and personal storytelling, not debate or confrontation. We may limit content that encourages persistent conflict.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not upload or engage in activity that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, exploitative, invasive of privacy, misleading, or harmful.
Use of the Platform does not create a right to free expression or a guarantee that content will be hosted.
6. Reporting, copyright, and takedown
You may report content via our reporting tools or by contacting support@justreminisce.com.
We may remove or restrict content, accounts, or groups without notice where appropriate.
7. AI-assisted features
AI tools may assist discovery but do not verify facts.
We do not train artificial intelligence models using User Content.
8. Paid plans, refunds, beta features, and feedback
8.1 Paid plans
Paid features are optional and clearly described at checkout.
8.2 Non-refundable payments
Payments for Paid Plans are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
We do not provide refunds for unused time, lack of use, account suspension or termination, removal of content, loss of access, or dissatisfaction with the Platform.
8.3 Beta and experimental features
Beta or experimental features are provided “as is” and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
8.4 Feedback
Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide may be used by us without restriction, obligation, or compensation.
9. Emotional wellbeing and memorial content
9.1 Emotional wellbeing
Justreminisce supports reflection and memory-keeping but is not a substitute for professional support. If you are experiencing significant distress, grief, or emotional difficulty, we encourage seeking help from trusted people or qualified professionals.
9.2 Memorial and deceased persons content
Content relating to deceased persons must be shared respectfully. We may restrict or remove memorial content where disputes, harm, or legal concerns arise.
10. Disclaimers, liability, and force majeure
10.1 Platform role
Justreminisce is a private hosting platform, not a publisher or public forum.
10.2 Service availability
The Platform is provided “as is”.
10.3 Device compatibility and functionality
We aim to make the Platform accessible across a range of devices and screen sizes. However, we do not guarantee that all features, layouts, or functions will display or operate correctly on every device. For the best experience, we recommend using Justreminisce on a desktop device. Tablet and mobile versions of the Platform may have limited functionality, reduced performance, or display issues compared with the desktop version.
10.4 Downtime, maintenance, and service discontinuation (no compensation)
We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or without interruption. From time to time, the Platform may be unavailable due to planned maintenance, updates, repairs, network or system failures, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, or other causes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that you are not entitled to any compensation, service credits, damages, or refunds for any unavailability, interruption, suspension, or failure of the Platform (including loss of access to content, features, or Paid Plans), regardless of cause.
If we suspend, withdraw, discontinue, or permanently shut down the Platform (in whole or in part), we will have no liability to you for any resulting loss and you will not be entitled to any refund, compensation, or service credit, except where such remedy is required by applicable law.
10.5 Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (if any).
10.6 Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including infrastructure failures, cyber incidents, government action, or natural disasters.
11. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts or groups for violations or legal risk.
There is no guaranteed right of appeal.
Deleting your account does not guarantee removal of previously shared content.
12. Legal boilerplate
12.1 Assignment
We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business.
12.2 No fiduciary duty
Nothing in these Terms creates a fiduciary, advisory, or special duty of care.
12.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
12.4 No waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
12.5 International use
If you access the Platform from outside the United Kingdom, you are responsible for complying with local laws.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
